Privacy Notice — Contact Form (GDPR)

This document is prepared in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

  2. What personal data we process via the contact form

  • Identification and contact details: name, email address, phone number (optional unless you request a call‑back).
  • Message content (free text).
  • Technical data for security and anti‑abuse (IP address, timestamp, user agent, logs).
  1. Purposes and legal bases
    We process data only for the purposes below and under these GDPR legal bases:
  • Responding to your enquiry and managing correspondence, including follow‑up and scheduling:
    Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps at your request prior to a potential contract) or, where not clearly pre‑contractual, Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interests in providing support and operating our business).
  • Maintaining security, preventing abuse and improving the service (e.g., anti‑spam/anti‑abuse checks, quality assurance):
    Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests).
  • Legal obligations (e.g., if your enquiry results in a sale and we must keep documents for accounting/tax purposes):
    Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligation).
  • Direct marketing (emails/SMS/calls about news and offers) only with your explicit consent:
    Art. 6(1)(a) (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.
    Note: We do not require consent just to answer your enquiry. For marketing communications, we will request a separate and voluntary consent.

  1. Mandatory data
    Providing your name and email is necessary for us to respond. Phone is optional unless you expressly request a phone call. If you do not provide the required data, we may be unable to respond.

  2. Retention periods

  • Enquiries: retained for up to 24 months after closing the conversation, then deleted or anonymised, unless needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • Customers/contracts: if your enquiry leads to a contract, your data are stored in customer files and retained according to legal/accounting rules (typically up to 10 years for accounting records).
  1. Recipients (processors)
    We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run our website and communications, for example:
  • Website hosting and security
  • Email and CRM/helpdesk providers
  • IT support and cloud infrastructure
    We have data processing agreements in place; providers are bound to confidentiality and act only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

  1. International transfers
    Some providers may be located outside the EEA/United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we apply appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where necessary, additional measures following transfer risk assessments. Where applicable, we rely on an adequacy decision.

  2. Your rights
    You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).

  3. Children
    Our services and contact form are not intended for persons under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

  4. Security
    We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk (encryption in transit, access controls, least‑privilege principle, logging, staff confidentiality). No internet transmission is 100% secure.

  5. Automated decision‑making
    We do not use contact‑form data for automated decision‑making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

  6. Changes to this notice
    We may update this document from time to time. The latest version is always available via the link to this page and replaces previous versions. Material changes will be clearly indicated.
